Since I'm looking through the streams I thought I'd share what I find.

!Updated from memory to beta weekend 3!

RACES

Human
+2 to any stat
+3% defense
3 bonus "heroic feat" points @ level 10, 15, 20 (If I recall correctly, it was 34/44 of the total heroic feats this allowed you)

Half-elf
+2con and +2cha or +2wis
+1 to a "non-class" ability score
+1% critical damage
+1% deflect
+1% gold find

Halfling
+2dex and +2con or +2cha
+3% Deflect
+10% resist Crowd Control effects

Dwarf
+2con and +2str or +2wis
Resists knockdown and repel effects*
Resists Damage over Time effects*
*Actual amounts not listed but I'd guess between 1% and 10%

Elf
+2dex and +2int or +2wis
+1% crit chance
+10% slow resist

Teifling
+2cha and +2con or +2int
+5% damage vs targets below 50% hp
10% chance when hit to lower attackers power by 5% for 5 seconds

Half-orc
+2dex and +2str or +2con
+5% higher crit damage
+10% movespeed for 3sec after entering combat (20 sec CD)

Drow
+2 cha and +2dex or +2int
5% chance on hit to lower targets defense
+1% damage while dual wielding

Dragonborn
+2str and +2con or +2dex
+5% damage while under 50% life
First attack made after 30 second cooldown will proc a Breath attack (related to your color)

Eldarin
+2dex and +2int or +2cha
+5% defense
+15% resist crowd control

Where did Dragonborn and Eldarin come from? I certainly don't remember any news about them anywhere. Did Cryptic slip them into the game without telling us?

Sorry, couldn't find it in search, there should be a sticky thread with this stuff for newbies, and I can't start a new thread asking so I guess I have to spam other threads until I can start my own.

How the hell do you find out what my handle is? I have friends I want to meet up in game, they tell me I need my handle, and I have no idea how to find it. They tell me it's my login/username, but there's no @ in my username, and I log in using my email.

I'm very new to this game, and I'm frustrated by the lack of useful information. I'm not demanding detailed build guide..just simple things like descriptions of classes, powers, feats, where to find stuff, descriptions of companions, definitions of term used in gear, enchantments. And for the record, I don't think its up to a player community to provide this initial information, but basic documentation the company should provide.

only because i didn't see the answer to this and i know the answer.. the info for friend adding is <character name>@<username> (no <>'s) btw I've been playing all of 3 days.. I'm very intuitive.. so if i can help i will if i dont know an answer i will certainly look into it before i open my cyber pie hole.
