***** We are on the Beholder shard*****
Please note we are predominately an EU community, but we do welcome folks from other time zones that play at the same time as us, folks with other playtimes may find us a bit quiet at those times.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So yet again here i sit preparing to compose the boring old recruitment thread..........................sorry needs must and all that eh
Ok so here goes let's try not to bore the reading populous senseless eh
Are you the more *cough* seasoned side of 21?
Ever been accused of having a rather warped or twisted sense of humour?
Do you want to consider your guildies as your friends, and for them to consider you a friend?
Enjoy participating in voice comms banter? or maybe been accused of donkey hind leg removal before?
Does maturity mean more to you than not typing WTF **** and other such twaddle?
Do you honour commitments you make out of a sense of pride?
Do you respect that the darned thing called real life does exist, and sometimes.... just sometimes it can be a right royal pain in the arris?
Ok well if you got this far in reading, you have probably said yes to some if not most of the questions above, in that case read on my friend......
Hmm who are we? Well were a misfit bunch of guys and gals that love our way of doing things.......now let's see if our way is like your way eh....
We are looking for more people like us, hmm now how the heck do I describe us......
...aha I got it.......
Squirrels................no no no... I mean nuts.......
Yep quite frankly, we talk too much in voice comms *cough* not me personally though *cough*, we have rather warped twisted and sometimes downright disgusting senses of humour, that one I will own up to
Our non English members have definitely all learned the worst parts of the English language firstthat said us lot from the UK are far far from innocent..........
Everyone has their different things they love to do in a game, but ALL of us love to hang out with our fellow guildies who we are all happy to call friends, gaming is very much a social thing for us.
So if you're like us (see above) and see maturity as more than just not
QQ when something goes wrong
typing leet speak
and acting like a right (insert own derogatory word of choice)
then the sad diagnosis is that you might fit in here, and be happy to call our little community your home.
We are happy that we have a nice mixture of folk here, some love the idea of team play in dungeons or pvp, some are here for the social aspect only, so maybe we have what you need :d
If you got all the way down to here, and are NOT thinking what a load of old twaddle then perhaps you might like to have a mooch around our website and take a look-see and even might fancy dropping us an application eh

Regards, best wishes and happy gaming.

You got me interested with EU (because of playing times). What is really great is the gaming or social part to be in a guild, which I understand there are no fixed raiding times or activities people have to attend to?

If we do raiding in a game, the times are set so that folks know what they are doing etc, but attendance is totally optional as with all our activities

01-16-2013, 03:08 AM #5My favorite character ever was a female bard (I am male) in DAoC and help people level to 50 (which could take weeks back then, killing Fins all day. Yes, I was/am a Hibby!) by playing a song and keep them entertained chatting about stuff and making jokes. Does that fit into the guild?

I usually play a thief/bard class in games, but not to serious roleplaying (only the fun part of it, like elves are stupid!). Exploring new ground and learn as much as possible about lore, areas, dungeons etc. is something I usually solo to take my time, so I can help others with knowledge later on. It sometimes took me 2 days and ~400 jumps/dives to reach a certain point in an area of another game, I can be very persistent.
For the social part. Helping new players is a great hobby of mine, with knowledge and/or assistance while not overdoing it. Otherwise you brag or he loses interest in the game if it is too easy.
The raiding part, I hate it! Much better are small groups and doing normal quests, less waiting, no stress, no arguing, more fun. There is one exception, if e.g. The Inevitable City is under siege, then I join any raid to defend it with any character I currently play. These loyality quests where the whole server got involved were great. Or lets say the guild wants to raid _The Dragon_ (I hope there is one), count me in. If it is about farming a dungeon for items, I rather explore some new area alone.
Enough talking! If you would say it fits, then I'll put in an application once the game is available as beta/alpha/release whatever
//edit: is there a way to browse the forums on your website without actual joining the guild yet? I tried to register and now have to wait for approval:
//edit: this text is great:This is a user registration with no associated application
