... Ghost in the Shell was really awesome - both the movies, anyways, I've never gotten into the series. ....

You should pick up series. They have completely seperate story, but are more awesome than the movie.

And the music, oh dear Selune! Just listen to Torukia on youtube somewhere. Amazing!

I've actually seen a couple of them and I liked what I saw, but I've always got a lot to do on my plate and TV series in general are pretty time consuming. Nonetheless, maybe one of these days...

Don't spoil it. Watch it in sequence. Otherwise you will really regret it. I did because I missed one episode in first season. Later when I saw that episode, I wished I hadn't.

Nah! 2 seasons done, and a 2 episode special Solid State Society. They have been out for quite some time. Soundtracks are out too I think 7 records in total though I only have 6(including movies)
